The MAPT Annual Conference recently held at the Best Western Royal Hotel & Trade Center in Marlborough, MA proved to be a great professional development opportunity for those who attended. Among the attendees were special education directors, school business managers, contractor representatives, collaborative directors, school transportation professionals and representatives from both the RMV and DESE.
Peggy Burns, Esq. from the Education Compliance Group, Inc. was the featured speaker. Peggy's down to earth manner, and thorough knowledge of the subjects covered made for an engaging day for all. As Peggy presented the issues of liability around staff training and decision making a lively discussion began with questions from the various audience members.
The Board of Directors would like to thank all those who attended and Peggy Burns for an excellent presentation.
