National Positions on Public Policy: How Does it Affect You?

Presented by: Peter Mannella, Public Policy & Communications Liaison, NAPT

The National Association of Pupil Transportation (NAPT) is advancing public policy initiatives that impact pupil transportation nationwide. Over the past two years, NAPT has taken a more proactive approach to advocating for policies that support safe and efficient transportation for students.

This presentation will explore key policy positions adopted by NAPT and highlight opportunities for members to engage in national advocacy efforts.  NAPT Advocacy Agenda

Topics Covered:

  • NAPT’s current public policy positions and initiatives
  • The role of the NAPT Public Policy Committee in shaping advocacy efforts
  • Opportunities for member involvement in national advocacy

Peter Mannella,  serves as the Public Policy & Communications Liaison for NAPT, leading the Public Policy Committee in making recommendations to the Board of Directors on issues affecting pupil transportation. With guidance from the School Superintendents Association (AASA), he helps advance NAPT's mission of promoting safe, efficient, and effective student transportation solutions.
